About Ukko
Ukko, or , or Äijä or Äijö (Finnish: male grandparent, grandfather, old man), parallel to Uku in Estonian mythology, is the god of the sky, weather, harvest and thunder in Finnish mythology.
A keen Photographer, Drone Pilot, and business owner based in Oxfordshire. Raised in England before continuing his education in Toronto, Canada. Studied Photography at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto and then Graphic Design at Humber College, before embarking on a career in Graphic Design with design agencies in Toronto. Returned to England in 2007 to work for an agency in London. Attended night classes at the Berkshire College of Agriculture to study Garden Design and in 2010 created a new business intent on specialising in Garden Design and Maintenance. After several years of flying drones as a hobby, became a commercially licenced UAV Pilot in 2019 and founded Ukko Aerial Images.
